If you've seen a Mini Me figurine on someone's desk or shelf and wondered how it's actually made, this is the post for you. The process is more hands-on than most people expect — and that's exactly what makes the result so special.
That's genuinely all it takes to get started. A clear front-facing photo works best — it doesn't need to be a professional shot, a good smartphone photo in natural light is perfect. If you want a specific outfit, a second photo of that outfit helps our painters match the colours and details accurately.
We take photos on WhatsApp at +971 58 566 7060. You can also include notes — "she always wears her hair up", "he never takes off his watch", "can you add the dog?"
Our team selects the right base model from our library — Funko Pop style, cartoon style, realistic style — and 3D prints it in durable PLA plastic at our Al Barsha studio. The print takes several hours and produces a smooth, detailed figure ready for painting.
💡 PLA plastic is food-safe, non-toxic, and highly durable. Your figurine won't fade or degrade — it's a permanent keepsake.
This is where the magic happens. Our painters work with fine-detail brushes and acrylic paints to match skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, and every detail of the outfit. A bindi, a specific watch, a team kit number, a Gucci bag — if it's in the photo, it goes on the figurine.
Most pieces take 2–4 hours of painting time. Complex scenes with vehicles, animals, or multiple figures take longer.
Before we ship or hand over the finished piece, we send you a photo for approval. If anything needs adjusting, we fix it. This step means you never receive something you're not happy with.
Your figurine is carefully packaged and delivered to you across Dubai and the UAE, or shipped worldwide. Most UAE deliveries arrive within 1–2 days of completion.
Standard turnaround is 7–10 working days from order confirmation. If you need it sooner, contact us — we can often accommodate rush orders depending on our current queue.
